Solid timber flooring price survey: Page 11
Products, grades and timber length
Selecting the appropriate quality timber for a hardwood floor involves trading off price with quality characteristics inherent in a natural sawn product. These characteristics influence the appearance of the resulting floor.
Generally flooring timber is available in three grades, each reflecting different levels of natural feature.
- Select grade (low levels of natural feature)
- Standard Grade (some natural feature)
- High Feature grade (high levels of natural feature)
Please rate each of these grades for your personal preference (level of desirability). Rate your most preferred grade as 10. Please make your selection at the bottom of the page.
