From Forest health news No. 33, July 1994.
The issue of possum damage to Pinus radiata is one I plan to raise at the Forest Health conference. I believe the problem is potentially of considerable significance to log quality and productivity where damage is ongoing year after year. There is an urgent need to initiate a long term evaluation project, but such an initiative will require the support of the major forestry companies.
